Motorcycle Club Emblem and Vest Patch Production
The badge on the back of the club vest is the identity of the club. The top rocker, middle logo, and bottom rocker; we produce all three from your own design. The chest and arm badges are ordered directly from the site, while large back sets are planned as custom measurements.
1. What is a three-piece set
In motorcycle clubs, the back of the vest is often not a single piece. The established layout is as follows:
| Top rocker | The curved stripe at the very top of the vest, sitting between the shoulders. The club's name is written here. |
|---|---|
| Middle logo | The main emblem in the middle of the back. The club's symbol, colour, and character are visible here. |
| Bottom rocker | The curved stripe at the very bottom. It displays the name of the city, region, or country. |
There is a reason these three pieces are produced separately: when the club grows, or when a member transitions to another area, only the bottom rocker changes, and the main emblem remains in place. There is no such flexibility with a single-piece back badge.
In addition to these, name tags, arm and chest badges, title strips, and year badges are used on the chest. All of these small pieces fall within our standard size range.
2. How do you order which piece
| Piece | Ordering method |
|---|---|
| Chest badge, arm badge, name tag, title strip, year badge | Directly from the site: upload your design, select size and quantity, view the price instantly |
| Top rocker, middle logo, bottom rocker (large back set) | Because it's custom measurement: send us the design and the measurements you want via the contact form, and we will write to you about production suitability and pricing |
In our standard order flow, size options range from 5 to 9 cm. Since back sets are much larger than this, they are planned separately; therefore, instead of adding directly to the cart for a back set, we ask you to write via the contact form. This way, the measurements, curve, and cutting line are clarified before production.
3. Velcro or sewn on leather vests
This is the most debated topic in clubs and the right answer depends on the use of the vest.
| Velcro | A female Velcro strip is sewn onto the vest once, and the badge is attached to it. When the rocker is changed, or the vest is renewed, the badge is removed and transferred. Not piercing the leather repeatedly is the biggest advantage. |
|---|---|
| Sewn | The badge is sewn directly onto the vest. It's permanent, does not move, and preserves the classic appearance. When it needs to be removed, it leaves a mark on the leather. |
In practice, a very common solution is to combine the two: the main emblem is sewn on, and the rockers are made with Velcro. This way, the club identity remains fixed while the region and title can change.
If you are going to have the leather vest sewn, do it by a leather craftsman rather than a textile tailor. Leather does not recover from needle marks; a single stitch made in the wrong place is permanent.
4. Material: What does a TPU badge bring
The badges we produce are made from 100% TPU material, UV printed and must be 3D raised. The important aspects concerning club badges are:
- Rain and mud are not a problem. TPU does not absorb water, it does not swell and fade like embroidery. This is a defining difference for a vest used on long rides and in all weather conditions.
- Colour does not fade. UV printing is resistant to sunlight; the club colours remain as they were on the first day.
- Holds fine details. Fine lines, shadows, and small texts that embroidery cannot hold come out clearly on TPU. This is where the true difference for detailed club emblems is seen.
- Raised texture. The badge surface is not flat, it must be 3D raised; it is felt when touched and gives depth according to the light.
There are clubs that insist on a classic embroidery texture, and this preference is worthy of respect. However, for a badge that will get wet, rub, and stay on the same vest for years, TPU is more long-lasting.
5. Price according to club quantity
Club orders are naturally bulk, and as the quantity increases, the unit price decreases. The following figures are for the 9 cm size, Velcro badge and include VAT. The table is produced from current prices.
| Quantity | Quantity discount | Unit price | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 | — | $6.94 | $69.44 |
| 20 | %10 | $6.25 | $125.00 |
| 40 | %20 | $5.56 | $222.22 |
| 60 | %40 | $4.17 | $250.00 |
| 100 | %50 | $3.47 | $347.22 |
| 250 | %60 | $2.78 | $694.44 |
| 500 | %65 | $2.43 | $1,215.28 |
If you prefer a non-Velcro, transfer printed back side, the unit prices for the same quantities will be $3.61, $3.25, {{birim_cirtsiz_50}}, and $1.81. The minimum order is 10 pieces; since the membership count of a club is usually above this, it does not practically create an obstacle.
6. If you don’t have a design
Many clubs come with just a sketch, a photo, or an image of an old badge. This is a sufficient starting point. Send whatever you have; we will write to you what is needed to make it suitable for production.
What helps ease the process in production: a clean vector file (AI, EPS, SVG or a PDF that includes a vector), otherwise at least a clear image with a width of at least 1000 pixels. Images of vests taken with a photo or small files downloaded from social media disperse in print.
A point to note about the rockers is the curve: the curve of the stripe is determined according to the width of the vest's shoulders. If you also include the back width of the vest when giving the measurement, we will set the curve accordingly.

8. Frequently Asked Questions
What should be the size of the back set?
There is no standard size; it varies according to the body of the vest and the club's preference. The healthiest method is to measure the back of an existing vest with a tape measure and let us know the width. We will tailor the measurements accordingly.
Can you make a separate name tag for each member?
We can. Name tags are added as separate items; since each name is different, they are produced individually, but discounts apply based on the total quantity.
How is the edge of the badge cut?
A contoured cut follows the outer line of the design. Classic shapes like round, shield, and hexagon are also possible; just specify which shape you would like.
What is the minimum quantity you produce?
For production from your own design, at least 10 pieces. We do not produce a single badge.
Can we add to the same design later on?
Yes. Your design is saved; when a new member joins, you can place an additional order by specifying your order number. The quantity of the new order is priced according to its own discount tier.
