Airsoft Patch and Team Badge
Your team's badge is the only thing that identifies you on the field. Upload your own design, have it produced starting from 10 pieces, and receive it within 3 business days. The badges we produce are made of 100% TPU, UV printed, and must be 3D embossed; they will not lose their shape in mud, rain, and sun.
1. Team badge and morale patch are not the same
There are two different needs in the airsoft community, and they are designed with different rules.
| Team Badge | It is the identity of the team. It must be the same for everyone and needs to be recognisable from afar on the field. It requires a simple form, strong contrast, and minimal detail. |
|---|---|
| Morale Patch | It is personal. It carries a joke, slogan, character, or reference. It can be detailed because it is looked at closely, and reading from afar is not expected. |
Most teams use both: a fixed team badge on the chest or arm, and changeable morale patches on the panel area of the vest.
2. Measurement and placement
| Size | Where it is used |
|---|---|
| 5–6 cm | Side panel of the helmet, above the shoulder, small name tag |
| 7 cm | Chest panel, arm badge, bag, and case |
| 8–9 cm | Vest chest and back panel, main team badge |
The measurement is the longest edge of the badge. Velcro panels on tactical vests typically accommodate this range comfortably; if you’re unsure, measure the narrowest edge of the panel and let us know, and we can select the appropriate size together.
3. Why are they produced with Velcro
Almost all orders from the airsoft side are with Velcro. The reason is practical: the same vest can be used with different teams in different scenarios, the badge can be changed between games, and when the equipment is renewed, the badge can be moved to the new vest.
There is the hook side of Velcro on the back of the badge, which attaches to the female panel on your vest. If your vest does not have a ready panel, it’s sufficient to have the female tape sewn onto the clothing once.
If you want a badge that will stay fixed and never be removed, a non-Velcro option is more suitable and clearly cheaper; it is directly sewn on or applied with an iron with a transfer-printed back.
4. Design that works in the field
A design that looks good on screen may mean nothing when seen on an arm from thirty metres away. Useful tips for designing a team badge include:
- Minimal elements, strong silhouette. What is read from afar is not details but the outer shape and contrast.
- If there is text, it should be bold and minimal. Team name is sufficient; slogans and founding dates clutter the badge.
- Contrasting colours. Dark details on a dark background will turn into a single colour blot on the field.
- Do not use lines as thin as a hair strand. These lines will get lost in printing on a 7 cm badge.
The advantage of TPU printing comes into play here: shadow transitions and fine details that embroidery cannot carry are sharply defined in this material. So whether you prefer simplicity or want a detailed emblem, the result stays true to the design.
5. Price according to the number of teams
The price is determined based on size, back type, and quantity. A team generally orders over 10 pieces, so the minimum quantity is not an issue in practice. The table below is for 9 cm Velcro badges, prices include VAT and are produced at current rates.
| Quantity | Quantity discount | Unit price | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 | — | $6.94 | $69.44 |
| 20 | %10 | $6.25 | $125.00 |
| 40 | %20 | $5.56 | $222.22 |
| 60 | %40 | $4.17 | $250.00 |
| 100 | %50 | $3.47 | $347.22 |
| 250 | %60 | $2.78 | $694.44 |
| 500 | %65 | $2.43 | $1,215.28 |
If you prefer non-Velcro, the unit price noticeably drops: 10 pieces $3.61, 50 pieces {{birim_cirtsiz_50}}, 100 pieces $1.81.
6. Frequently Asked Questions
Can I get just one morale patch made?
No. A minimum of 10 pieces is required for production from your own design. In team orders, this number is already exceeded; teaming up with a few friends for a personal design is the most practical way.
Do you produce infrared (IR) or reflective badges?
No. The badges we produce are made of TPU material; they do not have infrared signatures or reflective properties. If you require these features, the right material is different, and we do not want to mislead you.
Will they withstand muddy and rainy games?
Yes, they will withstand. TPU does not absorb water, does not swell like embroidery and does not fade; if they get dirty, they can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
Can I place an additional order for two new team members?
Since your design is registered, there’s no need to resend the file, but the new order must also consist of at least 10 pieces. Therefore, we recommend that you order a few extra pieces with your first order.
How long will it take to receive my order?
After payment confirmation, production takes 3 business days, followed by shipping time. Shipping costs $7.78; orders of $80.56 and above ship free.
7. Let’s get started for your team
If your design is ready, you can upload it and see the price immediately. If you only have a sketch, send it anyway, and let us know what is needed to make it suitable for production.
